The Cboe Magnificent 10 Index (MGTN) is an equal-weighted equity index designed to measure the price return of a select group of large-cap U.S. technology and growth-oriented companies with listed options. The Index initially comprises the common stocks of Broadcom Inc. (AVGO), Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL), Tesla Inc. (TSLA), Meta Platforms Inc. (META), Microsoft Corporation (MSFT), Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN), Apple Inc. (AAPL), NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA), Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR) and Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (AMD). Any company removal due to corporate action will have a replacement defined by size and liquidity constraints within the technology sector, in order to maintain the goal of growth-oriented tech companies.

Cboe(시카고 옵션 거래소)가 만든 equal-weighted (동일 가중) 가격 수익률 지수예요. Magnificent 7(애플, 마이크로소프트, 엔비디아, 아마존, 메타, 알파벳, 테슬라)에 브로드컴(AVGO), 팔란티어(PLTR), AMD를 추가한 총 10개 대형 기술/성장주로 구성되어 있습니다.
 

주요 특징
지수 자체로, 주식처럼 직접 거래되는 게 아니라 지수를 추종하는 파생상품이 거래됩니다.
Cboe에서 MGTN 옵션과 MGTN 선물이 거래되고 있어요 (2025년 말부터 본격 거래 시작).
ETF는 별도로 존재하지 않습니다. (비슷한 개념의 Magnificent 7 ETF는 있지만, MGTN은 Cboe의 자체 지수입니다.)

애플, 마이크로소프트, 엔비디아, 아마존, 메타, 알파벳, 테슬라까지는 기존 M7이라고 불리워지기는 했는데 브컴에 팔란에 암드...

브컴 암드는 없고 (반도체 1도 없는 나... 심지어 삼성 하닉도 없음...) 팔란만 있는데 (+ 슬라) 뭔가 팔란이 이정도인가 싶어지고 그런 기분임.

(설마 웅장세 내라고 하지는 않겠지?)
