이름이 pika(파이카)라서 그런 말이 있었지만 사실은 아님. 피카츄는 일본어로 반짝인다 피카에 쥐소리 츄를 합성한 말. 얘는 그리고 쥐가 아니라 토끼임. 실제로 삐삐 울어서 우는토끼라고 하는 앤데 엄청엄청 귀엽다...ㅠㅠ
