아키나는 데뷔전 부터 마츠다 세이코의 팬이었으며,
실제로 처음 오디션을 봤을 때 마츠다 세이코의 '맨발의 계절'를 불렀고

데뷔한 이후에도 방송에서 푸른 산호초 등 세이코의 노래를 몇 번 불렀음

2004년 12월 30일 베스트텐 특방에서 오랜만에 만났을 땐

생방송 광고 나갈 때 사회자 뒤에 숨어서
둘이서 몰래 얘기도 나누고
