You have gained a loyal and steadily growing fanbase over the years. When you meet or hear from fans, what do their messages mean to you at this stage of your journey?

My fans are my driving force. I believe that not only the cast and crew, but also the fans help complete a project. A work truly feels finished when it receives viewers’ interest and love. Recently, my fans and I decided on a nickname —“Moonjjak,” short for “Moon Sang-min’s partner/friend.” I’d love to take this opportunity to say thank you to all my Moonjjaks. I’m so grateful, and I’ll continue working hard to show you better sides of myself. To my beloved fans – I cherish you always!

Lastly, as you continue evolving as an actor, what is one kind of character or genre you have not yet explored but would truly like to challenge yourself with in the near future?

So far, I think I’ve often been shown as a bright, playful and cute “yeon-ha” image and I’m truly grateful for the love that’s brought me. At the same time, I’d love to explore roles where I can show a more grounded and dependable masculine side — someone who leads with quiet strength and charisma. Many viewers associate me with royal or princely characters, but I believe I could also suit more down-to-earth roles. Moving forward, I’d like to challenge myself not only in historical dramas but also in modern stories — playing someone ordinary and relatable, rather than a typical wealthy heir. I’m excited to gradually expand my range and show different facets of myself as an actor. I hope audiences will continue to look forward to discovering new sides of me with each project!
