For them they said there's no particular theme or story for them in this men in black but instead that they just wanted it to be playful like imagine things for themselves like aliens in an enjoyable way but I think they're a very melded team.

So you can see already that they're into their characters. They've decided who they're going to be in their version of Men in Black.
