HOT follows suit with an even more cohesive collection of pop hits and a more focused and mature sound. The group pays specific attention to vocal melodies and uses tidal-waves of dreamy synthesizers. The fourth track, 'Ash', might be the best song they’ve ever put out. It’s definitely the catchiest thing they’ve recorded to this point, and I feel they’re in their strongest form here. I know this site’s readers aren’t looking for this kind of recommendation, but I wasn’t expecting myself to get as into this scene as I did, so I guess we’re all surprised here. HOT is catchy, fun, and I’ve found myself returning to it on an almost daily basis since it came out.
